These bright minds, at the university, have worked hard to be where they are
They have dreams
But now they have to fight for their lives to be assured of freedom
When a group of people consent to shooting their own countrymen
Something is wrong
When the cry of freedom falls on deaf ears
Something is wrong
When young men and women die for this cause
Something is wrong
When the cry of people is answered with bullets
Something is wrong
So many young lives are being sacrificed
So many young people languish in prisons
So many voices are dismissed
But you can’t turn back the clock
Once the freedom bell tolls
You can’t un-hear it or stop it
It is very unfortunate that the path to victory is drenched in blood
