Are seen and framed by the eyes of the artist

The right angle is chosen and the right lighting

The artist sees and captures the beauty of

The loan boat on a foggy lake

The row of trees reflected in the water

The yellow widow pane that opens to a lovely field 

The broken glass that tells a tale of sorrow

The homes of the pelicans atop the tall trees

The fiery leaves of the fall

The lone red bench standing in water and

All subjects are worthy and are turned into art

These photographs belong in studios and magazines

And yet they are taken for our eyes

We are grateful to be exposed to their beauty 

And to be uplifted by them

We are thankful for the eyes and the heart that capture them
